General Policy

We accept refund or return requests made within six (6) hours of delivery for perishable items and within 72 hours for non-perishable items, provided the complaint is valid and properly documented.

Please note: Orders cannot be cancelled once out for delivery. Refunds will be processed either to your EkoAfromart Wallet or to your bank account, depending on the situation and your preference.

Refund Guidelines

  • If we’re unable to fulfill part or all of your order, and the value is under CAD $25, the refund will be credited to your EkoAfromart Wallet.

  • For orders above CAD $25, refunds can be processed either to your Wallet or to your bank account—your choice.

  • Wallet refunds are immediate upon approval. Bank refunds are processed within 2 business days of confirming your account details.

  • In cases where an item was delivered but is damaged, missing, or substandard, a refund will be made to your Wallet following a validated complaint.

Eligibility for Refund

Perishable Goods (e.g., fresh produce, meats, fish, dairy):

  • Refunds must be requested within 6 hours of delivery.

  • Visual proof (photo/video) of the issue is required.

  • Complaints must be lodged on the same day of delivery via our support channels.

Non-Perishable Goods (e.g., grains, spices, packaged foods):

    • Returns must be initiated within 72 hours of delivery.

    • A valid complaint must still be made within 6 hours of receiving the order.

    • Items must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.

Items Not Eligible for Return or Refund

EkoAfromart will not accept returns or process refunds for any items unless:

  • A complaint was filed within 6 hours of delivery.
  • The issue is confirmed with evidence and validated by our support team.

Return Shipping Costs

  • If an item is defective or we made an error, EkoAfromart will cover the return shipping.

  • If you change your mind or cancel after dispatch, you will bear the return shipping cost.

Delayed or Missing Refunds

  • Once your refund has been approved:

    • Check your EkoAfromart Wallet or bank account.

    • If a bank refund hasn’t arrived within 2 business days, check with your bank.
